Inductance

Inductance or reactance is an electromagnetic component used in order to improve operating safety, eliminating network disturbances, mutual disturbances between the drivers of the converters, limiting periodic over voltages due to the accumulation of charge in the tyristors.

These inductive components are mainly used in the industrial sector as an alternating current filter, as a current limiter in electrical short circuits (batteries of power factor correction capacitors, electronic power supplies, circuits with rectifier bridge, electrical energy distribution systems, industrial electrical systems ), and as an inrush current limiter when starting three-phase electric motors.

They are essential to comply with the electromagnetic compatibility requirements of grade A and B according to the En 55011 standards
