Antistatic Tubes

The antistatic tube is a product that is used to neutralize the electrostatic charges of the materials present inside the transport flows (with diameters up to 300 mm.), Preventing them from sticking to the internal walls, obstructing their passage.

The diameter of the pipe will coincide with the existing piping system and in the same way the number of integrated antistatic bars is calculated based on the diameter of the pipe.

The antistatic tube is made in two different ways according to the type of antistatic bar that is applied to its outside: 

• Antistatic bars model "A" powered by a power supply model "DK1" at 6000 V.
  This system, also called "shock system", is however of maximum safety for the operator, as the high voltage electrodes with current below 0.1 Ampere are mounted inside the system and therefore cannot be reached from the operator.
  In this system, the pipe can only be made from a conductive grounded metal.
• Low profile resistive antistatic bars, powered by an 8000 V model “DK2” power supply.
  This system guarantees the same effectiveness as the version with the "A" bars but making the system shockproof and without any danger that sparks may arise towards the ground, guaranteeing safety on some types of materials containing gas and / or solvents that need to be discharged from the electrostatic charges.
  This composition also allows us to be able to make the antistatic tube also in other materials other than conductive metal, such as plastic and also transparent materials in which the passage of the material will be visible.
